12 May 2012 - 10:00am 12 May 2012 - 4:00pm Canada Science and Technology Museum (1867 St. Laurent Blvd at Lancaster) Let's clear the air about zero-emissions vehicles. Together, we can make a better environment and reduce our transportation energy costs. This year, our exhibitors include: A wide variety of vehicles will be on display from Tesla Roadster electric sports cars with zero-emissions range of over 400 km on a charge, to the Nissan Leaf, the Chevrolet Volt and a number of cars, trucks and motorcycles that have been converted to electric power. EVCO members will have vehicles and projects on display, which could include tractors, motorcycles and a number of off-road and on-road electric and hybrid vehicles. Check out the EVCO conversion demonstration trailer. Bring your cameras, curiousity and questions. Get answers about electric and hybrid vehicles from people who have first-hand experience to answer your questions. Open to the public. Free admission. Free parking. Service to the museum via OC Transpo (you might even get to try a hybrid bus). Participation by EV owners (and EV related vendors / organizations) is also free - please contact us at info@evco.ca. Be prepared for any and all weather - rain or shine. Many bring a portable gazebo / pop up shelter. Tables and chairs provided if needed. The museum has a cafeteria that exhibitors will be allowed to access, as well there are restaurants a short walk away on St.Laurent boulevard.
