Yes, it’s possible to get paid to charge at home! New programs have recently launched for Canadian EV owners.
All of these programs leverage Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR). This is a federal carbon-credit system where companies can sell credits for clean EV charging activities. These programs act as intermediaries: they aggregate homeowners’ charging data to generate carbon credits and share a portion of the revenue with you.
As of March 1, 2026, there are a few different options. All prices are in $CDN and are subject to change. We strongly encourage you to review program terms and conditions. EVCO does not necessarily endorse any particular program.
